A Maker at Heart
The sizzle and sear of veggies caramelizing on the grill as the aromas intensify in the afternoon hours. Katy, a woman who is hard to define by title, is mincing the garlic on the adjacent cutting board while holding a loose conversation with friends. A knitter, sewist, woodworker, baker, chef, traveler, and more simply - a maker. Wearing jeans she mended herself, Katy expresses curiosity through her hands. As she pulls the veggies from the grill, she turns to the table asking herself, “what’s next?”
